Welcome to Mister Fox Spanish School. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the mrfoxspanish.com website and the purchase of our educational and complementary services. By enrolling in a course or purchasing any of our products or services, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
Mister Fox Group S.A.S. BIC, Colombian tax ID (NIT) 901.481.515-2, owner of the Mister Fox Spanish School brand, is an Institution of Education for Work and Human Development (ETDH), licensed by the Municipal Secretariat of Education of Pereira for its Spanish A1–C1 and English A1–C1 programs, aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). We are authorized to issue acceptance letters for the Colombian student visa (type V).
We offer (i) educational services: Spanish and English courses in group, private, in-person and online formats, trial classes and level tests; and (ii) complementary services and products: shop, cultural activities, accommodation and coworking spaces. The specific conditions of each plan (number of hours, format, validity period) are those published at the time of purchase.
You may enroll online or at our campuses. When you choose a plan, we temporarily reserve your seat; enrollment is only confirmed upon payment. An unpaid reservation expires automatically within the period indicated during checkout and releases the seat to other students, without creating any obligation for either party.
All prices are published in Colombian pesos (COP). Online payments are processed through Wompi (card, PSE, Nequi, Bancolombia, Daviplata). Educational services provided by an ETDH institution are excluded from VAT (Article 476 of the Colombian Tax Code); prices for the shop, activities, accommodation and coworking include 19 % VAT in the published price.
Class sessions last 55 minutes. If a student does not show up and more than 20 minutes pass without notice, the class is considered delivered. The rules on rescheduling, cancellation and refunds are set out in our Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
The school guarantees the continuity and quality of the academic program, not the assignment of a specific teacher. We may replace a teacher when necessary (for example, due to absence, force majeure or internal organization), while maintaining the level, syllabus and methodology. A change of teacher does not entitle the student to a refund or compensation.
Academic certificates are issued upon completion of the corresponding level, provided the student has met a minimum attendance of 80 % and the academic requirements of the program. Certificates can be verified through the mechanisms made available by the school.
Our teaching materials, the "The Mr. Fox Way" methodology, website content, logos and trademarks are the property of Mister Fox Group S.A.S. BIC or are used under license. Their use is authorized solely for personal study purposes. Reproduction, distribution, publication or commercial use without the school's prior written authorization is prohibited.
We promote a respectful environment among students, teachers and administrative staff. The school may suspend or terminate the service, without refund, in serious cases of conduct that affect coexistence, safety or the normal running of classes, after notifying the student and assessing the case.
The school is responsible for providing its services as agreed herein and in accordance with Colombian law. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes (for example, passing external exams or visa approval, which are decisions made by third parties), nor are we liable for reasonable interruptions beyond our control, such as the student's connectivity issues, force majeure or acts of third parties. Nothing in this section limits the rights granted to consumers under Colombian law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the city of Pereira, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
We may amend these terms with reasonable prior notice by publishing the new version on mrfoxspanish.com and, where appropriate, notifying you by email. Purchases are governed by the terms in force at the time of contracting.
