“I had taken some Spanish courses in school awhile ago and learned Spanish on my own through listening to Spanish music, watching novelas, and practicing with friends here and there. I was preparing for a few trips to Spanish speaking countries and wanted to brush up. I love the Medellin Colombian Spanish accent and came across Mister Fox Spanish School. My teacher, Isaac, was super friendly, accommodating, patient, and really helped me to review Spanish grammer and strengthen my pronunciation. Homework in between classes helped to reinforce online lessons. I became more confident in my speaking skills just after 3 weeks of classes. Isaac made classes fun and even incorporated conversational, colloquial Spanish into lessons to help prep for my upcoming trips. Highly recommend taking classes with Mister Fox Spanish School!”

“I loved the 3 weeks I spent at Mister Fox improving my Spanish through two hours of private classes daily with Santiago. I would highly recommend it. I was already at a more advanced level but still had plenty of areas to improve in. I felt like Santiago really quickly understood the level I was at and my common mistakes. He is an excellent teacher - patient, encouraging, and the classes are very engaging and fun. The two hours each morning went by quickly. We typically spent half of the class in conversation and half of the class learning a grammar concept + practicing through various exercises. Santiago brought interesting topics for us to discuss, which also helped me learn about Colombia. I felt like he explained grammar concepts more clearly than any teacher has explained them to me in the past. And on top of this, Juan José who leads Mister Fox is very nice and organizes regular cultural activities and language exchanges. I went on a tour he organized and had a great time meeting other students and learning more about the history of Medellín.”

“I cannot recommend Mr Fox highly enough. I stayed in Medellín for a month and originally only planned on taking classes for a couple of weeks but I enjoyed my lessons so much I ended up booking them right up until my last day! I was meant to have 1-1 classes with Julio and group classes with Santiago, but there weren't other students at the same level as me so I ended up having 1-1 classes with both tutors. Julio and Santiago are brilliant. My lessons with Julio were longer so we focused more on conversation and boosting my confidence. Our lessons were fun, interactive and we spoke about interesting topics (politics, religion etc.) which I really enjoyed. Santiago is fantastic at explaining grammatical concepts very clearly. I am B2 level so we primarily focused on the various forms of the subjunctive and weaving it in naturally when speaking. Some concepts clicked in a way they hadn't before so I'm very grateful. The school is ideally located, especially if you're staying in Laureles. I thought it offered good value for money and you also get a discount with Euforia dance school if you are a student here (which is a great bonus). The tutors and staff that work here are very kind and welcoming. Definitely give Mr Fox a try!”
