Español A1: Start Speaking Spanish in Colombia
Español A1 is the first level of our Spanish program, registered from A1 to C1 on the CEFR scale. It is made for real beginners: how Spanish sounds, how the present tense works and the phrases you need in your first weeks in Colombia.
What you will be able to do
- Introduce yourself and others, and say where you are from and what you do.
- Ask and answer simple questions about where you live and the people you know.
- Order food, ask for prices and directions, and follow simple answers.
- Talk about your daily routine and what you like or dislike.
- Say what you are going to do this weekend and what you are doing right now.
The course starts with the alphabet and its sounds, then nouns, articles and numbers. Then come ser and estar, the present tense with regular and common irregular verbs, hay, question words, possessives, prepositions of place, reflexive verbs, verbs like gustar, ir a for plans, the present progressive and your first object pronouns.
