Mister Fox Spanish School is a government-licensed ETDH institution in Colombia — which is exactly why our acceptance letters work for your student visa.
Anyone can claim to be a “school”. Very few language schools in Colombia hold a real government licence — and for a student visa, that difference is everything. Here is exactly what our accreditation means, in plain English.
In Colombia, institutions that provide job-oriented and personal-development education are regulated as ETDH institutions (Educación para el Trabajo y el Desarrollo Humano). To operate legally, a school needs two separate government acts: an operating licence for the institution itself, and an official registration for each program it teaches.
Mister Fox Spanish School holds both. Our operating licence was granted by Resolution 6784 of September 19, 2022, and our Spanish program (levels A1 to C1, aligned with the CEFR framework) is registered by Resolution 005093 of July 23, 2024 — both issued by the Secretaría de Educación Municipal de Pereira, the local education authority that supervises us.
Colombia’s type V student visa requires proof of enrollment at a recognized institution with a real study load. Because we are a licensed ETDH school with a registered Spanish program, we issue your acceptance letter ourselves — no agency, no middleman, no markup — and our Visa Programs are built to meet the class intensity the visa application expects.

Honesty is part of the deal. As an ETDH institution we issue official certificates of completion for each registered level — we do not grant university degrees or diplomas, and no language school in our category does. Our licence covers our school in Pereira, where our academic operation is based; classes are also taught at our Medellín location in Laureles and live online with the same teachers and method.
