What a kids class looks like

1. Warm-up game that recycles last class’s words — repetition without boredom.

3. Speaking activities in pairs or with the teacher — every child talks, every class.
4. A story, song or mini-project that sends them home wanting to come back.

Levels run from A1 to B1 for young learners, and each stage builds real, usable Spanish: introducing themselves, making friends at the park, following what happens at school, telling you about their day — in Spanish, unprompted, which is the moment most parents remember.

Kids do not study a language. They adopt it — if the classroom feels like play.

From surviving school to belonging

If your child attends a local or bilingual school in Colombia, Spanish class is the difference between following the day and merely enduring it: understanding the teacher, joining the joke at recess, inviting a classmate home. And if you are still planning the move, starting classes online before you land is one of the kindest things you can do for your child — they arrive with words already in their pocket, and the first week of school stops being a wall.

Timing is flexible on purpose. Classes run Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., so lessons fit around school hours, sports and the rest of a busy kid’s week — after school, on Saturday morning, or online from home on the days getting to the sede is one errand too many.
