If Your Colombia Student Visa Is Refused

Our refusal policy, in plain terms

Most schools bury this in fine print. We would rather you read it before you pay us, because the fear of losing everything is what keeps good students from ever applying, and that fear deserves a factual answer rather than a shrug. If you enrolled in a Visa Program and your student visa is refused, bring us the official proof of the refusal and choose one of two options. The acceptance letter is deducted because by then it is the one thing already produced and used: a real document, issued by a licensed school, that carried your application. What you have not consumed stays yours, as hours or as money. A refusal should not cost you your Spanish; plenty of students take the credit, study online and try again with a stronger file.

How it works if it happens

1. Send us the official refusal document by WhatsApp or email, whichever is easier for you.
2. Choose your option: keep your unstarted hours as credit, or request the refund of the unused value minus the acceptance letter, under the conditions of the refund policy.
3. We apply it. Credit students can join live online classes right away; refund students get their money moving without a fight.

No forms designed to exhaust you and no case manager who stops answering. The policy exists so that the scariest question in this process, what if they say no, has a plain factual answer. And because the school that issued your letter is the one you talk to, there is no third party in the middle to complicate the conversation when it matters most.

How to make a refusal unlikely

A safety net is good; not needing it is better. We cannot influence the decision; nobody outside the authorities can, whatever an agency’s landing page implies, and we won’t pretend approval can be bought. What you can influence, heavily, is the quality of your file. Refused applications tend to share the same handful of preventable flaws:

• Make the file complete: every required document, legible, in the expected format. One gap turns a review into a resubmission, or worse.
• Show clean solvency: recent statements in your name, meeting the amount set by the authorities. Check the current figure rather than guessing.
• Be coherent: your level test, your program choice and your stated plans should tell one believable story. A real study plan reads like a real study plan.
• Get apostilles done in the country that issued each document, and book official translations early, before you fly.

“Can I apply again after a refusal?”

Many students strengthen their file and try again. Whether and when you can reapply is defined by the authorities and depends on your case, so check official sources or have a professional review the refusal before you refile.
