Español A2: Talk About Your Past and Your Plans
Español A2 is the second level of our Spanish program. You already get by with the basics; now you learn the past tenses, the imperative and the future, so you can tell what happened, give instructions and talk about what comes next.
What you will be able to do
- Tell what you did yesterday, last weekend or on your last trip.
- Describe how things used to be: where you lived and what you did.
- Handle routine tasks on your own, such as shopping, transport and appointments.
- Give directions and advice, and make plans with the future tense.
- Understand short, clear texts and announcements on everyday topics.
The course covers the preterite with regular and irregular verbs, the imperfect, the present perfect and how to choose between them, then the pluperfect. You also work on por and para, relative pronouns, the simple future, ser and estar with adjectives, pronominal verbs and the imperative. It ends with listening and reading practice.
