The application is filed online with the Colombian authorities. Around the acceptance letter you will assemble a valid passport, recent bank statements, photos, and apostilled documents where the file requires them — obtained in France before departure, since France recently reorganized which authority issues apostilles, and chasing stamps from Colombia is the expensive way to learn that. Documents not in Spanish need an official translation.
